Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By ordering, installing or using School Manager (the "Software"), you agree to these Terms of Service on behalf of your school or organisation. If you do not agree, please do not order or use the Software.

2. Licence

On full payment of the licence fee, we grant your school a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Software for one school. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the Software, or install it for other schools. You are responsible for keeping user credentials secure and for all activity under your school's accounts.

3. Hosting & your data

The Software runs on hosting that your school controls, so your school's data stays with you. You are responsible for your hosting account, domain and backups, and for ensuring you have the right to store any student, staff or guardian information. Where we access your data during installation, data import or support, we handle it in line with our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Software, including reselling or redistributing it, or using it to store or send unlawful content.

5. Fees & installation

The licence is a one-off fee of KES 50,000 per school, payable before installation. The fee includes installation on your hosting, import of your existing records and staff training. Hosting, domain and SMS costs are paid separately to the relevant providers.

6. Limitations

The Software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Software.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will note the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify the schools we have on record.
